The details @ the High Line, New York

One of my favorite places.. The Oslo Opera House

‘Listen to Your Hands’ by designer Lee Sanghyeok is a beautiful piece of furniture, exploring our interactions

We already knew that iconic architect Frank Lloyd Wright was also a little-known but brilliant graphic artist, but did you know he was also a brilliant doghouse designer? Here’s his charming correspondence with a 12-year-old boy for whom he designed the doghouse above.

Charles Eames’ conceptual diagram of the design process, displayed at the 1969 exhibition “What Is Design” at the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris. Pinched from Gloria Koenig’s excellent (and bargainous) book, Eames. Designers should be made to stare at this for ten minutes each morning. Conviction and enthusiasm: that’s what we should all be aiming for.

Requirements: 48’x48’ 5 to 7 people. storage. and that’s about it.

Client:Grace Kelly

Retreat: A garden getaway on the hills-side of Monaco.

My hand drawn plans on La Maison de Verre in Paris. Along with the ending of my analysis on the house. ‘Jean Dalsace granddaughter’s quote.’

This house is incredible in so many ways.
